Mason Jar Soap Dispenser

IMG_1774_edited-1 Mason Jar Soap Dispenser – Cost $0.00

My inspiration for this project came from the September edition of Country Living magazine.  I saw this photo and knew I had to try to copy it.

I used a empty bottle of hand soap and a pint size mason jar.IMG_1757_edited-1

I measured the hole size I needed to drill into the top of the mason jar lid. It was 3/4” and I wish I had a drill bit for metal.  I used a drill bit for wood and it worked but it was difficult and left a small burn mark on the lid.  The next one I make I will purchase a bit for metal.  I am also on the look out for a pump that is black or silver, it would look better and make a great gift.  I was excited to make this within 5 minutes and for free.

After drilling the hole, I trimmed the pump to the correct length, and added hand soap.  It was that easy.

  1. I like this!! I have one in my kitchen/bathroom that are old coke bottles. I bought a special dispenser that just pops on over the top. I was wanting another for my other bathroom, but now I think I like your idea better!
