Old Desk Project

This blog has been silent for way too long. Due to some medical issues crafting and woodworking has been the last thing on my to do list for a long while but I am getting back to it with a list a mile long of projects.

First up is this old desk, it has been painted, varnished, painted and painted some more. I am trying to decide what to do with it. I thought of stripping it but it would have to be dipped there are way too many grooves etc. for me to do properly. So I am thinking a good sanding and repainting.

I have thought about a pale robin egg blue or a creamy white? Not sure, I think I will stare at it for a few days until I decide.

Any ideas?

I have found knobs for the desk I love at Anthropologie.com. There is a pale blue glass bubble knob I like and my favorite is the clock knobs and those would be easy to make.
